Sooooo nice!!! We felt welcome from the first second. The people, the lodge, the campgrounds, the fooooood, the homemade we bought – just awesome! Hard to leave the place.

An amazing experience! Can’t wait for next trip!
I try to go at least once a year. I love the camp sites and friendly service. And amazing trails for hiking/riding. The camp sites are perfectly set up for tents and trailers. They recently brought power out to quite a few sites as well and set up a new sani dump with a water tap to flush out.

What a lovely place, still quiet this time of year. End of May beginning of June we are the only campers. There are 24 spots some with others without electricity. A picnic bench and a fire pit. Wood costs 20 dollars for a wheelbarrow full. You can eat in the lodge. We had halibut with fries. No alcoholic drinks but soft drinks or tea. Directly on hiway 16.

A little paradise!
The most beautiful campsite I have tried in Canada. With its breathtaking landscape between the gigantic mountains and the beautiful Skeena River. With its dedicated staff and its several accommodations, I sincerely believe that this campsite is the best value for money in Canada. Truly a place to discover. To try it is to adopt it

A Great Place to Stay: I was bike camping and the facilities are wonderful. Great showers and there is a restaurant that serves excellent food. The host is knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to stay. They also have guest rooms and a common room. The resort is located in beautiful surroundings.

Took a trip out here for lunch and had a very strong craving for some Fish ‘n chips. The halibut was perfectly cooked, the service was top notch and will definitely make it a regular stop on my visits to the Skeena!

Biking Cassiar highway to prince Rupert
A great location for touring cyclists. I camped in tall timber away from highway. Very quite and pleasant. Food service is excellent. Place your order and pick a time for pick up. Large common room extremely pleasant. A little oasis. Plenty of room for eating visiting playing games and watching TV. Also food can be ordered for early departure. It’s in the fridge with guests Name on it. There are muffins cookies and pepperoni rolls ready to go for a quick snack and plenty of ice cream. Staff members pleasant and engaging, felt like I was at home!! Campsite had good place to pitch my tent and a nice picnic table. Bathroom had abundant hot water. And a flusher. As for the downside campers appeared to have only one shower. Keep an eye on this place. As they increase their resort offering, for example planned kayak rentals and guided trips I expect the lodge to be a destination. Hope I can visit again
